Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler rocks Moscow street musician
Steven Tyler was rockin’ in the former USSR last week, joining a street performer in Moscow for a duet of the Aerosmith frontman’s hit, “I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing”.
Accompanied by an acoustic guitar act by the Russian musician, Tyler grabbed the mic and encouraged the guitar player to sing with him.
However the street performer soon found his stride, and looked thrilled as he harmonised with the 67-year-old through the chorus of the track, which is from the soundtrack to 1998 movie Armageddon. The film starred Bruce Willis and Tyler’s daughter Liv Tyler.
Tyler continues to work on his debut solo album and will perform with country band Loving Mary at the inaugural Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival in Franklin, Tennessee later this month. Back in 2014, he sang the 1993 Aerosmith song “Crazy” with two women in Lithuania. Tyler announced his arrival in Moscow in a tweet he posted on the same day. They performed a free concert on Saturday, which was held at Lubyanskaya Square. They have some of the photos of their adventures in the band’s Instagram page.
