AFC North preview: Battle between the Cleveland Browns and Cincinnati Bengals
That might have something to do with Johnny Manziel making a start tonight for the Browns as well. Those passing statistics stick out, too.
Leading Cincinnati this season is fifth-year quarterback Andy Dalton who is playing splendidly and with his numbers a strong candidate for the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award. He ranks fourth this week with a rating of 107.6, which includes 15 touchdowns and four interceptions.
NFL Network is the only show in town from here on out and it begins with a tough sell, the Cleveland Browns (2-6) at the Cincinnati Bengals (7-0).
It is Thursday night and the matchup we have all been waiting for is here – the Cincinnati Bengals and the Cleveland Browns. However, in the running game, Johnson has gained just 179 yards on 56 carries, an average of 3.2 yards per rush, and has yet to find the end zone on the ground. “Really, just kind of a trial run to see how it was going to feel and what the best way to do [things] going forward would be in terms of using it or not using it and all that”. It’s important to note that Browns’ cornerback Joe Haden, safety Donte Whitner, and wide receiver Brian Hartline will all miss Thursday’s game due to concussions. Barnidge leads the team with 40 catches and six touchdowns and also has 567 receiving yards. And Dalton added to his legacy of coming apart in the high-profile games.
With all that being said, I expect a hard-fought battle tonight.
In this case, he deserved it. “But it’s up to the medical staff; like I said, they’re taking me slowly”. I think that’s part of my job. Bengals fans haven’t watched their team win a playoff game since 1990, the longest drought in the NFL. He also immersed himself in studying other defenses.
Johnny Manziel, 22, was the biggest name in college football a couple of seasons ago winning the prestigious Heisman Trophy and earning the nickname “Johnny Football”. “This was just a decision that I wanted Colin to step back and breathe and look at things through a different lens”. Fantasy owners should temper their expectations for Benjamin, especially with Johnny Manziel at quarterback.
Tight End: Tyler Eifert has been one of the most productive fantasy tight ends all season.
I do think he’ll have a big play or two in this game, but I don’t think he’ll finish with a good-enough line to make him worthy of playing in your fantasy league. If he can keep it up through the second half, well, then he’ll have a decent game under his belt… and that’s a positive for the Browns, who need more positives.
