After a Twitter feud, Taylor Swift & Avril Lavigne perform ‘Complicated’ on

In fact, we think Taylor may have painted herself into a corner, because she’s running out of celebrity guests at this point! Taylor Swift brought Avril Lavigne on stage with her during her most recent stop on the 1989 Tour. As the Inquisitr reported, Lavigne was bedridden for months as she battled back from the illness. Earlier in the week, Taylor liked a fan-created Tumblr post that showed her hugging excited fans while other pop stars, including Avril, looked awkward around theirs.

“Such a Pleasure to perform “Complicated” tonight with @taylorswift on her #1989 world tour!” The two performed the latter star’s 2002 hit “Complicated”.

The two then ran home-Swift to her tour bus, Lavigne to her starkly attractive forest-and posted a flurry of photos and praise to the same social-media channels that started it all.

She later took to Twitter to write: “So incredible sharing the stage with @AvrilLavigne!”

It’s a far cry from a few days ago when there appeared to be a social media spat between the two singers sparked by a fan post on Tumblr that praised the way Swift treats her fans. Swift tweeted shortly after the performance.

Meanwhile, Swift also welcomed Jamaican singer OMI for a performance of his inescapable and wildly catchy hit “Cheerleader“. “She ROCKS”. Realizing how passive-aggressive she sounded, she responsibly washed and recycled the syrup container and posted another tweet: “So let’s keep it all about the love and stay positive”.
