‘Airlift’ character may win honours: Akshay Kumar

One of the most successful actors of Bollywood is gearing to hit the Southern screens. The movie features Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur in lead roles. But tell you what, working with Thalaiva was never his dream because as Akshay explains, “These things don’t come to you even in a dream”. “I have no idea (about the release), It all depends on my speed”. To some question on once the blast of “Kaththi” rebuilding starts, he explained, “We’re still choosing”.

Expressing his take on the intolerance debate, he snaps, “India has always been known for his intolerance. We’ve always tried to keep peace but when attacks like the one at Pathankot happen, you realise that the time has come to retaliate”. “But the way they entered our country and murdered our soldiers, I will say “inhe ghuske maro” (let’s get into their country and kill them)”. “He’s an incredible chief, and I’m a big fan”.

His wife Twinkle is currently a distributed creator and Akshay is a pleased man. “It’s incredible the way she bacome famous, first as an on-screen character, then an originator, an editorialist and now a creator”. All the characters that you see in the film are not portrayed as colourful or given a commercial angle. “No, I know my limitations”.

She has a wonderful sense of humour which is very different from mine and that is the best part about our household.
