Airline loses Boston Marathon bombing survivors bag with $250K worth of
American Airlines has found the luggage belonging to Boston Marathon bombing survivor Adrianne Haslet-Davis, after she took to Twitter Thursday calling out the company for losing luggage containing a few important equipment. In March 2014, she was able to dance publicly again in a TED Conference in Vancouver, B.C., while wearing a prosthetic leg that was made for her at the MIT Media Lab.
Haslet-Davis, a professional dancer, lost her leg in the explosions during the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013. I have an entire team on u. Please respond, been days.
Haslet-Davis could not be reached for comment Thursday night.
The airline told the Boston Globe it is very sorry about the lost bag and is working to return it.
American Airlines responded promptly to the Twitter pleas, but Haslet-Davis became frustrated with the delay in finding her items, which are required for her to perform.
Most recently, Haslet-Davis shared a positive note with those who have followed her story and have tried to help.
