AirPods Strap will tie your wireless AirPods together with a wire
One thing that won’t be free with your new iPhone is Apple’s new AirPods, the tech giant’s wireless earphones product that is only compatible with its latest smartphone. Susan Prescott, vice president of worldwide apps marketing, demonstrated the new capabilities on stage, showing how the update enables users to live-edit presentations via the Mac, iPhone, iPad or Web.
Apple is now officially letting customers preorder its new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus smartphones, reports MacRumors.
Cook also provided an update of Apple’s efforts to encourage more children in schools to learn how to code.
However, as is pretty much the norm, you will most likely be locked into a brand new two-year deal with your carrier. A sensor technology also included on the side of the AirPods that detects double-taps and can be used to access Siri.
With the launch of Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus, the Cupertino giant has created a hype in the global market and Apple lovers by making revolutionary changes.
At its press event on Wednesday, Apple announced that the iPhone 7 is water-resistant and passes an industry-standard test with a rating of IP67. However, preorders for the Jet Black color option have delivery dates ranging from September 26 to October 3. The 32GB iPhone 7 Plus will cost £719/$769, and the 128GB costs £819/$869, while the 256GB model will set you back £919/$969. So maybe you might think that there isn’t anything new here to mention, and that’s why the company didn’t bother putting it up there on the presentation. An older model such as the SE starts at $399.
But in a. philanthropic move, Apple have shown they understand that AirPods could be easy to lose, so they’re offering to sell individual replacements “through normal service channels”.
The BT-Mobile offer will also be available when the handset becomes available on September 16.
People who aren’t that keen on the idea can invest in Apple’s own $49 Lightning Dock. Someone could certainly design an adapter that had power and a headphone jack, but there’s little chance Apple would certify it.
