Akshay Kumar promotes Sonakshi Sinha’s Akira

Actress Sonakshi Sinha, whose upcoming film “Akira” is set against the subject of ragging, said she had faced ragging herself during her college days.

Sonakshi says A R Murugadoss has portrayed the lives of the victims in the film.

Sona today promoted the film in the Pink City, Jaipur where she earlier interacted with the media and later on enthralled the audiences. “If there is a character of Rajjo in “Dabangg”, it will always be played by me”, Sonakshi said in an interview here. The actress further urged everyone not to make any speculations until things are finalized. But, recently, Sonakshi spilled the beans on the same and here is what she has to say.

“The script is not in place as they (makers) are still working on it. Rajjo will always be Rajjo irrespective of how they take the story forward.” .

“There is lot of speculation happening”.

“Observing them in all the films has really helped me”. There is no conversation about “Dabangg 3” between us (Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan and me), as the script is not ready. The starlet added that she will always be grateful and thankful to the film and will be a part of the movie even if it is a guest appearance.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha will be seen in A R Murugadoss’ Akira, which also stars Anurag Kashyap and Konkana Sen Sharma. The youth has lapped up Sinha’s action avatar as the trailer created an all new record for the highest number of views for a female-led movie.
