Alabama clinches playoffs with win over Florida

Alabama vs Florida was going to be a very enticing match and fans of both the teams were expecting firefights from their respective sides. The defense was stifling, and Florida’s shaky offense had little hope of moving the ball except with the occasional big bomb that found friendly hands.

Florida’s offense managed only seven first downs and had the ball for 16:31 of game time while Alabama dominated in time of possession with 43:29.
