Alabama Football Two Touchdown Favorite Over Auburn
While rushing for the third-most yards in a game in Alabama history, behind only Shawn Alexander’s 291 in 1996 and Bobby Humphrey’s 284 in 1986, Henry did so with a school-record 46 carries – topping the previous high of 42 by Johnny Musso in 1970.
“He was not asking to come out”. Ever since the Ole Miss game theyve had their backs against the wall and responded every possible way that you could ask them to.. Because we’ll put somebody else in there’.
“As I was running, I was like, ‘Man, no way, ‘” Smith said.
Lashlee said he was “extremely proud” of quarterback Jeremy Johnson, who teamed with Jason Smith for a 77-yard touchdown pass that was the play of the game for Auburn. But few of them actually pull it off.
FRESH LONGHORN: Texas running back Chris Warren III had only 18 carries for 88 yards on the season before being pressed into action because of injuries in a 48-45 loss to Texas Tech. I’m not a run-and-play-defense guy. A steep hole from which to climb against one of the country’s best defenses. “He’s like a machine”. “This was our last regular-season game and we will get a plan and get better. I don’t think we did a good enough job, obviously, because he had 280 yards or whatever it was”.

Coach Nick Saban even said it reminded him of the “kick six” against his team and the tipped pass the Tigers had in their win over Georgia the week before that 2013 win over his team.
The big win of the day Saturday in the SEC came at Auburn where Alabama defeated the Tigers 29-13 to clinch the West Division and stay on track for one of the four berths in the second College Football Playoff. He may not have a lot of versatility on the field – he has only 10 receptions this season – but when it comes to Heisman criteria, Henry’s an all-purpose candidate.
