Alabama tops Ole Miss 48-37 in Foster Auditorium

It will take years to know which SEC teams truly won or lost on National Signing Day 2016, but now that all the highly sought after high school players have signed we take a look at the teams that fared best and worst during the roller coaster that is Signing Day. Alabama signed three four-star cornerbacks – Shyheim Carter of Kentwood, La., Nigel Knott of Madison, Miss., and Jared Mayden of Sachse, Texas – with the size and ability to also play safety, along with flipping three-star corner Aaron Robinson from his commitment to Florida and early enrollee safety Shawn Jennings.
The Bruins also signed a strong group of receivers to play with sophomore quarterback Josh Rosen. Said coach Butch Jones: “We still felt there was room for more speed, more athleticism and we were going to swing the bat”.
