Ali Larter Returning For Final Chapter Of Resident Evil
Larter, a veteran of the third and fourth films (and glimpsed in archive footage during the fifth), is confirmed as returning, though quite what Claire will be up to is anyone’s guess that this point.

A lot of fans are looking forward to the new “Resident Evil” movie.
Actress Ali Larter is set to reprise her role as Claire Redfield in the final chapter of the post-apocalyptic franchise “Resident Evil“.
But Deadline is reporting that she’ll be returning to the series with the upcoming sixth Resident Evil film, which is tentatively titled The Final Chapter, even though we have some doubts about this really being the last one. Anderson has directed four consecutive Resident Evil movies and he hopes that the fifth will surpass the previous installments. Anderson plans to film the installment in 3D. While the characters did not die, they were apparently captured by the villainous Umbrella Corporation and have been held in a secret facility.
When it comes to video games being adapted for the big screen, we have seen failure after failure, with majority failing to capture what makes the games so successful. Anderson also wrote the screenplay for all six movies in the film adaptation of the popular video game. Her character became one of the most popular and well-known from the “Resident Evil” franchise.
There is no official release date announced yet, but Ali Larter will start filming “Resident Evil: The Final Chapter” in September in South Africa. Courtesy of Screen Gems, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter will be in theaters on September 2, 2016.
