Allegiant adds flights to Texas, Puerto Rico from Pittsburgh
Travelers flying out of Pittsburgh International Airport have two more nonstop options available to them.
Allegiant Air is adding a new route to its offerings at Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport, this one to the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico.
“We’re looking forward to providing Cincinnati travelers with their only low-priced, nonstop option to visit our first Caribbean destination”, said Jude Bricker, Allegiant chief operating officer, in a news release.
As of December 16, 2X-weekly flights will go into service from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Austin, Texas.
The flights to Austin will begin February 17, with introductory fares as low as $44, according to a statement. “Austin travelers have embraced Allegiant’s low-priced, nonstop service to fantastic destinations around the country, and we’re excited to expand that service here in Austin”.
The seasonal service will go twice weekly from Portsmouth to the St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport which is near St. Petersburg and Tampa Bay, according to the airline’s website. Allegiant, a leading low-priced airline, now has 53 destinations from St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport.
