The actress posted via Instagram, the “First day of flying lesion for Pan”, and also attached a video of her practicing. Though both of them shared the same surname, but they were not bound in any blood-relation. The actress said “Thinking about and missing a hero of mine who once did this and left big shoes to fill.”
The success of Hook, 1991
In 1991, Robin Williams played the role of adult Peter Pan (Peter Banning) for the movie ‘Hook’. The movie was directed by Steven Spielberg, and Dustin Hoffman played the role of Captain Hook. As soon the news of Robin’s tragic death on August 11, leaked, the fans joined the social media sites to pay respect to the actor. The work of Robin Williams had created a huge impact on the followers.
Dante Basco posted a heartfelt letter
Some of the fans commented on his movie ‘Hook’, “Thank you for believing”. Robin’s co-star of Hook, Dante Basco, posted a heartfelt quote via Twitter. “Rest in peace, Robin, See you in Neverland.”

The whole nation was shocked for such decision. Allison was the lead in the NBC’s live musical (based on broadway smash from 1954), just a month before Robin’s death. Allison was really excited to play the role of Peter Pan. She said it in a post on June 30. She had told, “I have wanted to play Peter Pan since I was about 3 years old, so this is a dream come true.”
