Amanda Seyfried will star in ‘Twin Peaks’ revival
TVLine is reporting that Amanda Seyfried has just signed on for a televised vacation to the spooky little town of “Twin Peaks“.
The new “Twin Peaks” will be a present-day continuation of the series that became a pop-culture hit in the early 1990s when it aired on ABC. Details about her role are now shrouded in appropriate mystery, but the website speculated on Friday that she could be portraying the daughter of returning star Kyle MacLachlan’s Dale Cooper and his love interest, Annie, played by Heather Graham.
The versatile actress, who also starred in the “Twin Peaks“-inspired “Veronica Mars” (she played the Laura Palmer-esque Lily Kane on it), is said to be set for multi episodes”. TV Line says that Seyfried will be playing a new character, and that she will be appearing in multiple episodes.
Lynch and his Twin Peaks co-creator Mark Frost have penned one long script for the series, which Lynch will shoot as a continuous movie before editing down into individual episodes.
Showtime has yet to st an official Twin Peaks premiere, likely either late 2016 or 2017, but what can we make of the first brand-new cast member?
