AMAs take on Donald Trump

After Bruno Mars performed the opening number for the night, the stand-up comedian offered an impression of what Trump would say about the performance.

Selena Gomez, making her first public appearance following a reported stint in rehab, delivered an emotional acceptance speech after she was named favourite rock/pop female artist.

But that didn’t stop the pair from making a few jokes about President-elect Donald Trump and his wife, Melania, even impersonating both. Her face has a lovely glow, and her skin looks fresh and youthful! Not only did she get the voice down, but she also perfected Melania’s facial expressions. And her kiss with Zayn was just the icing on the cake.

Gigi Hadid, as we know her from catwalks and adverts from all around the world actually had very different aspirations as a child it seems.

Before the show, we learned that Gigi was really nervous to host the evenings festivities. Seriously – Hadid’s impersonation of Melania Trump was on par with what we can expect from drunk uncles at Thanksgiving dinner tables all across America this coming week. She riffed off Mrs. Trump having taken excerpts of a Michelle Obama speech for her own address at the Republican National Convention.
