Amazon Expands Dash Button Program To 50 Additional Brands

Amazon’s “Dash” button is one of the best examples of a cool theory that feels futuristic but actually sucks in practice.
Why is Amazon Doing This? The service, which lets consumers re-order products with the tap of a single-purpose button, was hailed as the potential future of shopping as well as the end of civilization, often within the same article. However, it appears to be part of a bigger picture.
The Wall Street Journal stated that the online retail giant is expected to announce the inclusion of numerous new brands for Dash buttons sometime this week. So far, these are household appliances that re-order supplies as they run out of them.
With these new additions, Prime members now have more than 150 Dash Buttons to choose from, up from 29 in 2015.

That being said, the buttons mere existence has prompted other startups to enter the same space of push-button orders.
