Amazon Reportedly Testing Restaurant Delivery Service
After Amazon decided to launch its Prime Now services in Seattle recently, the e-commerce giant enabled its fast-paced delivery services to users, allowing them to shop from home and receive a range of items within one hour.
At the moment, Amazon confirms that the trial of the alcohol delivery scheme is going to be a learning experience, as ultimately it needs to work out whether customers have any desire to order this type of product via safe shopping online as part of its two-hour delivery option. By focusing on “one hour” deliveries, Amazon has surely worked on promoting the service in a manner most appealing to its target audiences.
Rapid News Network adds that a spokeswoman from Amazon told them that the company has opened two facilities in Seattle and Kirkland. The addition of beer, wine and spirits to the Prime Now menu is sure to increase revenue, not just for booze, but also for Gary Busey mugs.
Select zip codes in Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, and Kirkland will get to enjoy Prime Now, which began on August. 25, according to the press release.
Prime Now is exclusively available to members of Amazon Prime.
Amazon is essentially using this service to create an infrastructure which makes it possible for groceries to be ordered and delivered on demand.
