Amazon’s Black Friday Deals Start Early
Though the Editorial Board is no stranger to the fun aspects of shopping on Black Friday, we think there is a large difference between providing holiday specials on merchandise and forcing your employees to work ridiculous hours away from their families or communities on Thanksgiving Day.
More retailers rolled out early Black Friday discounts this past weekend. Speaking of lines, the Black Friday lines can get long, so it’s best to have your phone or a few friends to entertain you while you wait.

The Newegg Black Friday 2015 deals kick off Monday, November 23rd and run through Cyber Monday, November 30th.
The company said it plans to post its holiday offers at Newegg.com/HolidayDeals, although the page was not live at press time. These deals will be offered in waves starting on November 20 until Black Friday itself.
Through this sale, Amazon is also trying to entice customers to use its mobile app and Prime service. This could spell trouble for brick-and-mortar retailers that depend on holiday shopping foot traffic and the overall allure of Black Friday, which seems to be waning, to drive up sales. However, experts are saying Black Friday 2015 may be the biggest online spending day in history and with just days away consumers are gearing up, as is the big online stores, such as Amazon, Best Buy, Target and retailers Macy’s.
More than 150 “Lightning Deals” will be available only within the Amazon mobile applications on iOS, Android and Fire OS. Those who have an Amazon Prime membership will be able to take advantage from this deals ahead of regular shoppers, as they will get access to them 30 minutes earlier.
These deals can be found on the “App Only Deals” tab and will be released daily from 3pm PDT to 11pm PDT starting Thanksgiving through Wednesday, December 9. The Acer tablets and Chromebooks will be 40% off through Amazon’s deals.
If you’re not a Prime member, now is a good time to sign up for an Amazon Prime membership or free trial. Reopens at 5 a.m. on Black Friday. In general, retailers will sweeten the deals to entice people to spend more on clothing as we approach the end of the year, she says.
