Amazon sees its biggest United Kingdom sales day ever on Black Friday
Sure, seeing with your own eyes can be beneficial this Black Friday but if you really want to get a good deal then you need to do your research carefully before deciding.
With nearly 71% of United Kingdom consumers reporting that they prefer to shop online, the aim of Ampersand’s work is ensure that the dreaded downtime experienced by sites like Net a Porter and Tesco during last year’s Black Friday is avoided at all costs.
But the predicted in-store chaos of previous year failed to materialise, with one expert claiming Friday’s discount bonanza was “like signing a death warrant” for retailers and more than a quarter of high street shops had d ecided not to take part.
As OneMK previously reported Black Friday was given its name across the Atlantic in America just after the turn of the millennium.

Some analysts expect Black Friday sales this year to exceed £1.6 billion, a rise of 20% on 2014.
They recently released a set of tips and statistics to help us shop this holiday season and it’s actually quite good, coming from the company that indexes all these results and decides which one is more relevant and why.
Argos was among them with reports that its website has crashed several times and consumers have been confronted with a holding page saying “Oops…Sorry to hold you up”.

Multiple errors on the Tesco website have also been reported, and between 10am and 11am the website slowed to an 8.4 second page load time.
Other retailers being singled out on social media for slow websites include fashion hub Boohoo.com, Boots, River Island and Debenhams.
YouShop has emailed subscribers with a discount code valid until December 5, and links to some of Black Friday’s biggest retailers, including Amazon, Walmart and Ebay.
“This year we anticipate even more Kiwis will be keen to take advantage of some of the great deals available”.
The company is predicting at least 250,000 orders by the end of the day with one TV being sold every six seconds and one games console every four seconds.
The electrical retailer had 400,000 visitors per hour to its website during peak trading, a figure up 70% on past year.
Many retailers have turned the event into a “Black Friday weekend”, so the best deals are not just confined to the one day.
Shoppers are expected to spend more than £3 billion by the end of Cyber Monday despite a “muted” Black Friday on the high street prompting suggestions the American phenomenon has already peaked in the UK.
