AMBER alert issued for Ft. Lauderdale infant

Law enforcement was looking for them, after issuing an Amber alert. It is unknown whether Augustin was with the armed intruders at the time of the home invasion and kidnapping.

Intruders took Taraji Kemp after they broke into the Fort Lauderdale property around 11pm on Friday, according to authorities.

A person of interest and a Nissan sought were found near Fort Pierce.

One suspect had a gun and several other people, including another child, had been present during the kidnapping, police spokeswoman Joy Ogelsby said.

Officials say she is possibly in the company of two unidentified males. Deputies said Stephanie Augustin is speaking with detectives. “Once we have made contact, many things will be clearer about this kindapping”, Oglesby said.
