Amber Alert issued for Wilkes Barre teen
Police said Jena Patterson, 16, of Wilkes Barre was abducted from her home on East View Dr. on July 30.
Patterson recently filed a protection from abuse order against Lewis and there are active warrants for Lewis on weapons charges.
Officials say he is believed to have a black handgun and is considered armed and risky.
Police say the two left the scene on foot, but may be driving in a red vehicle.
Police do not know if there was a vehicle waiting for Lewis and Patterson nearby.
“Patterson is described as a black female, 5’4”, 120 lbs. with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing gray yoga trousers and a multi-colored shirt. Lewis was last seen wearing a gray and black hoodie. Police say that Lewis has no fixed address and stays at different places a few days at a time.
If anyone has information, they are asked to call state police.
