Amber Heard ex-girlfriend defends actress in past arrest
Details of the former couple’s past incident went public in the wake of Amber’s divorce proceedings with Johnny Depp. Depp is now touring around Europe with his band The Hollywood Vampires.
Heard was released moments later, as TMZ reported that the prosecutors waived off the case as both Van Ree and Heard are residents of California and nit Seattle.
Heard and Depp are due to face off in court on 17 June, 2016.
Amber Heard’s ex-girlfriend said Wednesday the actress was wrongfully accused of domestic violence in 2009.

The accounts described by Wright supposedly took place two days before Heard filed for divorce.
Photographer Amanda de Cadenet published a picture during the same week of the supposed fight, showing Heard covering her cheek and her right eye, with her hair.
On May 27, Heard obtained the temporary restraining order. She’s also posted pics of herself at Pride weekend. On the other hand, Depp was touring around Europe with his band The Hollywood Vampires.
Many of those in Depp’s circle, including ex-wife Vanessa Paradis and his daughter, Lily Rose Depp, have defended him against abuse claims. Van Ree insisted that the altercation was nothing more than “a lovers’ spat” and said that the arresting officer was “misogynistic” and “homophobic”.
Van Ree, though, is just the latest person to stand by Heard. The former couple, which met on the set of 2011 movie The Rum Diary, are now embroiled in a messy divorce battle after Amber obtained a domestic violence restraining order against the Pirates of the Caribbean star.
Wright added that Depp was once a person she considered to be as close as a “brother” to her.
Ree continued, “It’s disheartening that Amber’s integrity and story are being questioned yet again. I got the phone call immediately after it happened, her screaming and crying, a stoic woman reduced to sobs”. However, she said they were misinterpreted by what seemed to be a homophobic authority, who then accused the actress with domestic abuse.
Leonard also supported an organization in Seattle that helps women who were victims of domestic violence.
