Amber Marchese Leaving Real Housewives of New Jersey

Amber Marchese, the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star whose brutally blunt husband Jim became the enfant bad of the show’s sixth season, tells People she won’t be returning to the series (which, for the record, has not yet been officially renewed for as seventh season).

Marchese’s decision to leave the show came just a day after Jim told Radar Online that he and his wife are extremely aggravated with Bravo’s decision to delay the filming of the upcoming season 7 of “RHONJ” until Giudice gets released from jail in December. “Not one scene was dedicated to the people she stole from, how their lives have been hurt or the children of families victimized by their crimes”, he pointed out.

Amber Marchese chose to join The Real Housewives of New Jersey a year ago because she felt it would be a good platform for herself and her family. “The show was not what we expected it to be, and I want to pursue more suitable endeavors”, Marchese told People. I wish the old and new cast all the best!

In addition to not needing money and bashing the show for not showing the characters as who they really are, Amber was also honest about how she feels toward Bravo’s decision to film the Giudice special. (Frankly, we are stunned she hasn’t flipped a table at this point.) Finally, Amber realizes in that her conduct is annoying & intrusive.

Still, Marchese says that she’s grateful for her time on the show, despite the fighting.

“To be snarky, if I wanted to, I would buy my own production company”.

Cohen hit back, saying the show has always gone to dark places, that the Marcheses have also put their children on the show, and that Bravo hasn’t endorsed anyone’s behavior on the show.

Teresa Giudice remains behind bars, serving out the terms of her 15-month sentence on bank fraud-related charges.

According to Jim, Amber Marchese is now friends with Melissa Gorga again and developed a friendship with Jacqueline Laurita, but other than that, they don’t plan to keep in contact with anyone else at all.
