‘America’s First Family’ Is Not Who You Think

But there’s one aspect of the cover that’s got a few people annoyed.

Why? Because the President of the United States and his loved ones pretty much own the moniker First Family.

The Kardashian and Jenner girls show a united front on the cover of the November 2015 Cosmopolitan issue, which celebrates the magazine’s 50th birthday, calling the controversial clan “America’s First Family”.

The cover marks the first time since 2011 that all of the women have been photographed together in the same studio. “Shame on you @Cosmopolitan!”

The Kardashians are not the Obamas, obviously. Is that why you thought just anyone could be named the First Family?

He said: “No one could have predicted the Kardashians’ and Jenners’ success”.

The 40-year-old star – who executive produces “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” – admits the show depicts something “glamorous and crazy” and not like the lives of most viewers, but thinks their strong bond is something everyone can relate to. “Like You’ve Never Seen Them Before” inside.

The Grio, the website focused on the black community, reported that the cover “lead many to question just what Cosmo was thinking when the editorial decision to call them the First Family was made”.

The magazine is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary, so what better way to do it than with a ton of fantastic Kardashian and Jenner pics? Throughout the years we’ve seen the navigate the choppy waters of celebrity, through nasty break-ups, family fights, 72-day marriages, and now the transition of a family member who is transgender. “I, for one, thank them for sharing the journey, because more often than not, it’s not only entertaining, it’s inspiring”.

The cover of Cosmopolitan’s November issue features Kris Jenner and all five of her famous daughters. The accompanying Kardashian websites also promise access to exclusivity. They last appeared together on a cover in 2011. She had topped that list days after the Kardashian apps launched.
