‘American Horror Story: Hotel’ cast news: Characters for upcoming season revealed
So now that we’ve caught a glimpse of Greenfield’s insane transformation in preparation for his role as a drug addict in American Horror Story: Hotel, we’re all a bit thrown for a loop.
The opening date of “American Horror Story: Hotel” is drawing near, and series co-creator Ryan Murphy and the cast revealed several exciting details about the characters that viewers will get to meet. “I don’t live at the hotel, but I vist there a lot”, Bassett revealed. Murphy shared that the season was inspired by the concept of a hotel surveillance camera that captured a girl getting into one of the elevators of a haunted hotel and was never seen again.
Angela Bassett: “I play Ramona Royale, and I’m sexy as well, yet not in a drug addicty kind of way”. “I have a very strong, real, lasting relationship with Gaga’s character, so I’m sure I’ll be at odds with Wittrock down there”.
‘And my character is also this fabulous actress.
Kathy Bates: “I play Iris”.
“I’ve directed all of these actors in different incarnations and from it comes this great shorthand and I think they know that they are safe because we’ve worked together”.
“She is a very wealthy social doyenne who is consumed with art, fashion and people”, Murphy informed reporters at the Television Critics Association press tour on Saturday. Chloe Sevigny is Alex, a mother and a doctor “dealing with great loss”. He also revealed that the musical icon will begin filming for the series early this week. “Lady Gaga plays a character who has relationships with Matt [Bomer] and Angela [Bassett] and Cheyenne [Jackson]”.
Lady Gaga is going from pop star to the hospitality industry – she’ll be playing a hotel owner in “American Horror Story: Hotel“. Denis O’Hare also teased that he will be playing the movie icon Liz Taylor, perhaps as an impersonator.
