‘American Horror Story: Hotel’: Matt Bomer On Whether Elizabeth Should Be
I should have had more faith, but after a few dry seasons, I wasn’t sure.
1986 was so Ab Fab I can’t stand it.
The entire Lowe family has chose to seek family therapy after Scarlett declared that Holden is still alive. Being a pediatrician, she is all involved in saving children, although she couldn’t save her own son. She pays another visit to the poor kid with measles, whose anti-vaxer mom is in a tizzy. He insists he wants to stay at the hotel when Scarlett suggests he come home with her. She is then unnerved when Holden tries to bite her.
AMERICAN HORROR STORY – Naomi Campbell as Claudia.
“Just when you thought “AHS” was getting boring, a gay kissing scene and Lady Gaga show up to lure you back”, one Twitter user posted. John takes him to the hospital, where we have to assume Gabriel’s maybe NOT dead since other people can touch and interact with him? The two women look nothing alike. Since then, he has become a vampire-like creature, taken his first victim and Googled March, of whom he is now a huge fan. What does the countess have to do with any of this and how much is she actually in control of? Funnily enough, the same thing that happened to Kevin Bacon’s money-it was totally stolen by Bernie Madoff. I wonder how the writers of [em]American Horror Story[/em] reacted when they heard this news.
Ramona is then seen cutting her breasts for him in the same way The Countess did for her – before they walk in and see The Countess, dressed all in white, sitting in Moe’s studio with all his friends dead. Of course, John could just say “Hey, I saw Holden at the hotel too, so if we both saw him then he’s probably there”, because logic. One user was besides themselves with excitement, tweeting: “Angela Bassett hasn’t said a word yet and she’s already given me my entire life”. Don’t worry, we’ll explain. Ramonas introduction came as the broken-hearted Donovan was slumming and sucking blood out of street junkies, and it was while she was holding him hostage that she let her incredible backstory come to light. It sounds nitpicky I know but seriously, if you have ever had your Grandmother buy you a game for a system you don’t even have because she knows “You like playing the Nintendo” then you can understand my frustration. Yuck. Still, his response is a way harsh, “Honestly, if that’s really true-you should kill yourself. I think I’m seeing things”.
Donovan is an addict. I can’t think of a single reason. But no, into the trunk he goes. He friggin’ loses it-and who can blame him. Chloe Sevigny’s subdued performance is infuriating when contrasted with Bentley’s fractured and emotional screen presence. “Why are you wasting your time on junkies?”
I love how Alex sees Holden. In a flashback, we even see her slit her wrists in a bathtub after his disappearance, only to be found by John. Sally and Donovan end up being bridging characters, connecting everything together as they drift from pairing to pairing. She kidnaps him, intending to use him to infiltrate the Countess’ lair and destroy her most prized creations: her infantile blood machines. However, The Countess insists that he needs to “burn” so he can “rise from the ashes”. Hint: Nobody cares about the “west coast influence”. The Countess tells him he’s a genius and that Will Drake must die. And by the way – you’re hard’.
John is thrown another curveball when Alex stops by to serve him with divorce papers. “I guess I’m unlovable”, she said. Iris asks Sally to off her with a needle, but when that fails, Sally moves to plan B, putting a bag over her head. At first I thought Iris was merely turning to heroin. He tried to question her about Gabriel, but she wasn’t very helpful. Will she take Scarlett with her, or bring a baby vampire back to live with her in the normal world? However, their conflict will apparently make them close with Donovan being “loved and discarded the same way Ramona has”. (Thank you, Ryan Murphy.) The second half, though, got the jolt it desperately needed: a bit of plot tension and, more crucially, Angela f***in Bassett. The killer he’s tracking targeted a gossip site next, leaving an office full of employees with their tongues nailed down or ripped right out. It’s a glamorous, seductive story, the kind that never lasts. Donovan (Matt Bomer), heartbroken from his recent breakup with The Countess (Lady Gaga) who replaces him with a new plaything played by Finn Wittrock, goes on a bender and targets Ramona to feed on. This is a fun storyline that could go anywhere.
Should The Countess feel threatened by her exes joining forces? Did The Countess somehow pick up the “virus” there? Ms Liz drops a great joke about why she can’t wear pencil skirts. But Donovan loved his father. For example, the desk clerk that runs the hotel is an older woman named Iris (Kathy Bates).
The first two episodes of the season have been very long, clocking in at well over an hour of television time.
In his letter, he calls the scripted program the “most vile and shocking content” he had ever seen on TV, “ever”.
John kept investigating his 10 Commandments murders during American Horror Story: Hotel. We’ve only been waiting forever for this.
