Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar sing a special song for Wazir

DNA has reported that the song which will have the vocals of both the actors will be titled “Atrangi Yaari” and will be featured during the end credits of the film.

Bachchan, who is shooting for Ribhu Dasgupta’s TE3N in Kolkata, had to leave the shoot midway and immediately rush to the sets of Wazir where Chopra wanted to sing and shoot a song for him.

He has captioned the photograph as: “Song recording for “Wazir”.

On off screen too, Every one knows that Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar share a near bond. Bejoy Nambiar & V.V. Chopra came up with an idea of including a duet song which portrays an unusual friendship between a honest Police officer & a paraplegic chess grand master, played by Farhan & Amitabh respectively. Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s “Wazir” is an action drama which will mark to be the first time that Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar will be seen sharing screen space. They known to catch up with each other via social media at odd hours.

“Wazir” also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Neil Nitin Mukesh and John Abraham.

Distributed by Reliance Entertainment the movie will release in North American theaters on January 8, 2016.
