Amy Schumer gushes about the Golden Globes and boyfriend Ben Hanisch

Schumer spoke to the press on the red carpet about her relationship with Hanisch, who is a furniture designer, saying they were “in love and it’s really exciting”.

She told “Extra”: “Having a boyfriend is my biggest accomplishment this year. I did write and star in a movie – that’s why I’m here”.

Schumer further explained that her sister was her official date-it’s believed that the RSVPs had to be sent in well before she and Hanisch went public-but that Ben was the one who had her real attention.

The gorgeous gal posted this precious pic (above) of herself packing on some PDA with her new boyfriend, Ben Hanisch. “But yeah, we’re happy”.

Before any additional questions were asked about Schumer’s relationship status, her sister Kim made a decision to switch things up and ask her sister to bust a move.

Schumer’s very good friend Jennifer Lawrence is a huge fan of Hanisch, telling ET at the Golden Globes “he’s nice and cute”. At the time of her interview with Charissa, she hadn’t seen J. Law on the carpet yet.

After the year she has had, Amy Schumer has so much more to talk about than her boyfriend. “I’ve never been dating anyone that the public’s really known about…but I like that everyone thinks I’ve been single my whole life. I was just really surprised”.
