Amy Schumer & Seth Rogen Tease Their Bud Light Super Bowl Ad
The Bud Light teaser features the scantily clad comedians with Schumer rubbing down Rogen’s hirsute back with some kind of lotion.
While getting ready, Seth even asks Amy to apply some moisturizer to the middle of his back! “There is no middle”, she replies.
The 30-second tease introduces an ad campaign that will have the duo engaged in an ideologically-neutral political party during the big game. And although Seth and Amy likely won’t be voicing their opinions on Hillary, Bernie or Trump, the teaser for the “Bud Light Party” ad has them getting ready to play politics.
As America’s election season reaches its fever pitch, Bud Light is trying its hand at political satire with a new celebrity-studded campaign set to debut at the Super Bowl. According to Vibe, Anheuser-Busch will have three full minutes of advertising this year.
Shock Top VP, Jack Kirsch told Adweek that the teaser was improvised. The California brewed wheat beer brand is aiming at Miller Coors Blue Moon with the first ever Shock Top Super Bowl commercial.
Super Bowl viewers (at least those who watch for the commercials) may be briefly disappointed to find out the beer brand is nixing it’s adorable puppy commercial for 2016 – but that disappointment will be short-lived because Schumer and Rogen are just as cute and lovable as puppies. The other ads have not been revealed, but they include a Budweiser spot with the famous Clydesdales and an ad for Michelob Ultra.
