An insane emoji keyboard with over 1000 keys
Scott acknowledges it’s a bit of a laugh: ‘This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve built in a long while, ‘ he says. In fact, its 14 keyboards fused to form this large keyboard that can be easily plugged into your laptop.
The keyboard is neatly organised with categories ranging from smilies, food, animals, flags, symbols to those not used commonly in any smartphones and computers.
Understandably enough, not every emoji is going to fit on one keyboard so Scott has spread them all across 14 of them, all of which are hooked up to the one computer. But he does promise to follow up the YouTube video posted below with a more detailed one on how the emoji keyboard was built.
YouTuber Tom Scott won’t have any problems reacting to anything on social media with his emoji keyboard.
Use of emojis has increased a lot lately in nearly all interactions on the web – be it comments or text messages or instant messages or even in tweets – and what could be a better way to get to your emojis directly without having to swipe through different emoji panels?
