And The First Couple Voted Off This Year’s Strictly Come Dancing Are…
Iwan Thomas has become the first celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing 2015.
Iwan Thomas and professional partner Ola Jordan have become the first couple to be eliminated from this year’sStrictly Come Dancing line-up.
Following the judges’ scares being paired with the public vote, the pair faced a dance-off against singer Jamelia and partner Tristan MacManus.
Iwan and Ola performed the cha-cha to dance song LMFAO ‘Sexy and I Know It’, while Jamelia and Tristan won the vote with their trip around the dancefloor to the Pussycat Dolls’ ‘Don’t Cha’.
Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell and Bruno Tonioli all voted to save Jamelia, with head judge Len Goodman supporting their decision.
Thomas thanked dance partner Ola for her help, adding:
“I’ve loved training with you, it has been amazing. Believe it or not, I was getting slightly better each day.”
Ola said, “I have absolutely loved dancing with you, you are a wonderful person and I am sorry it finished so early”.
Ola Jordan, who partners Southampton Olympic sprinter Iwan Thomas in this year’s show, is releasing her own calendar for 2016.
After his wife, and Strictly partner of Iwan Thomas, Ola, was booted off the show this weekend, James was clearly not impressed. Tune in on Saturday 10th October 6.20pm with the results show on Sunday 11th October at 7.15pm on BBC One.
The two couples danced again for the judges, but it was Jamelia that they chose to save with Len Goodman, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Reveal Horwood voting unanimously.
