Anderson Silva ‘thinks’ he could return vs. Bisping in Brazil; ‘The Count
Michael Bisping quickly responded to the rumor of the Anderson Silva bout, and the wisecracking Englishman responded.
On his Instagram page, Bisping reacted to Silva’s announcement.
Silva won over Nick Diaz but the victory was later overturned into a no contest by the Nevada Athletic Commission.
Silva repeatedly denied he was aware of the drostanolone and androstane, alleging that a tainted sexual enhancing supplement were to be blamed for the findings.
Silva shared this information when he was chanced at an MMA event in Dagestan.
However, those who did watch were treated to an unexpected cameo appearance by Anderson Silva, the embattled former UFC middleweight champion who until earlier this year was widely considered one of the top pound-for-pound fighters on the planet.
But Machida reportedly wants a fight against Michael Bisping for his comeback on either January or February.
I’m not sure certain how many people bothered to tune in to “Eurasia Fight Nights” from the Ali Aliyev Sports Complex in Kaspiysk, Republic of Dagestan, Russian Federation earlier today (Friday, September 25, 2015), available exclusively on UFC Fight Pass. “Maybe”, said Silva in the interview.
“The talk for my next opponent”.
Sources close to the situation told MMAFighting.com that the UFC is working on an event at the 42,000-seat Arena da Baixada stadium in March or April, but it’s not finalized yet. UFC Fight Pass caught up with the Spider and this was where he gave hints of his 2016 fight plans.
All of Silva’s claims however have yet to be officially confirmed by the UFC. “The All-American” owned two straight wins over Silva, and we’d not see the former champ enter the octagon again for over a year.
Silva will be looking to redeem himself against Michael Bisping. ‘The Count on his part has not been opposed to the idea, on UFC Tonight, but a lot of it depends on how he performs at UFC 193 in Australia against Robert Whittaker.
