Android 7.0 Nougat Release Most Likely Mid-August?
If the Android Nougat operating system really is launched in full this August, then that could also lead to the Nexus smartphones being released a month ahead of earlier expectations.
People from the tech community are waiting for the release of the Google Nexus 2016. However, the smartphone is guaranteed to receive Android security patches for at least the next few months (three years after launch, or 18 months after it was last sold on the Google Store).
On the off chance that you claim any of the Nexus gadgets we said before the beta is accessible now, and you’ll be first to get Android N, once it’s discharged. Because the Nexus 5 is a popular phone, though, it’s likely that its fans will work to give it an unofficial version of Nougat.
In addition to the release of Android 7.0, Blass revealed Nougat would not be available for Nexus 5 owners, which, honestly, shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. It also helps that the device would be 5.0 inches, similar to the 2014 flagship after complaints about the 5.2-inch Nexus 5X. There are also speculations that the upcoming gadget may have the capability of supporting Google’s virtual reality (VR) platform, Daydream.
“Developer Preview 5 includes near-final system images for supported devices and the Android emulator”, according to Android Developer’s post.
As we have already mentioned that, Android Nougat 7.0 is still in its active development stage. Android L, which was the first OS in this program, only got one developer preview.
The build.prop file contains the general specifications and pertinent data of an android device. Meanwhile, also adding and perfecting the features and dealing with the PR.
Something a little more believable is the re-introduction of wireless charging support on the smaller version of the new Nexus duo, despite it looking unlikely. But we’d spoil the surprise of N if we shared all of them.
