Android N Developer Preview 4 is Out! Final APIs and Play Publishing
This means app developers can start testing their wares against the official APIs that will be in the final Android N release when that comes out later this summer.
Enlarge / The Android N release schedule. At first glance it doesn’t appear that many new features have been included in this preview, however, it does bring several new APIs that enable developers to access all of the new features that are part and parcel of Android N.
If you want to try the latest Android N beta for yourself, you can wait for it to hit your phone, or join the beta if you haven’t already. (And earlier this week Apple showed what’s to come in iOS 10.) The final version will become available in the third quarter of this year.

Developer Preview 4 includes a set of updated system images for all supported devices as well as for the Android emulator, Google said.
The developer preview is available for the Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, Nexus Player, the Pixel C, General Mobile 4G, and the Sony Xperia Z3.
