“Angry Birds 2”: What Makes This Version Different

Rovio, a Finnish game creator has now released raging Birds 2 on Android and iOS. In a recent tweet by the game’s developers, it looks like mad Birds 2 has seen a whopping 1 million downloads in its first 12 hours, which is probably helped by the fact that it is free unlike the first version of the game.

As for the cast of characters, some of your favorites are returning in raging Birds 2, including Red, Chuck, Bomb, and the infamous King Pig, but there’s also a new birdie on the block dubbed Silver, a “dazzling but odd young bird rescued from Pig City”. The highly anticipated sequel to the biggest mobile game of all time has arrived. Watching commercials in exchange for more replays gets old quickly, but they also mean you’re never completely barred from playing the game.

Last December Rovio cut around 110 jobs, nearly one in six of its workforce, and shut down its game development unit in Finland.

Challenge players from across the world in the Arena to see who’s the most hardcore bird flinger of them all. There was nothing particularly wrong with this setup, but raging Birds 2 provides a more interesting way to take down the opposition. Mad Birds can also be played in the game form in mobile phones and there have been several versions of this game since it has launched in the year 2009.

Rovio claims that mad Birds 2 offers revamped slingshot gameplay mechanics, better graphics, more challenging levels and boss battles. Connect to Facebook and play new tournaments every day to earn feathers and level-up your flock.
