‘Angry’ Shatrughan Sinha hits out at BJP again
He further said that probably BJP doesn’t need Bihari babu’ anymore. While Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had recently tweeted in favour of Nitish Kumar and urged people to vote for the grand alliance instead of the BJP, Sinha said, “This shows that Trinamool Congress lacks in confidence and is scared that the BJP will secure a landslide mandate in Bengal just like the one we are heading for in Bihar”. “Blueprint of the party’s election campaign is nearly ready and it would be finalised during Shah’s visit”, Sinha said. Earlier in the day, the actor turned BJP leader, who has stayed away from campaigning returned to the state to cast his vote. “I did not say anything wrong. My intent was to highlight shortcomings and fix it on time”, Sinha said adding, “I talked about checking soaring price of pulses as in the past rise in price of onion had left people crying”. He once again said the party should have chosen a CM candidate for the elections.
“I wish there is a BJP wave in Bihar”. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also address 8-10 rallies across the state before next year’s Assembly elections”. Sinha said that the rift between him and his party needs to be resolved in the larger interest of the party, Bihar and the nation.
“My party workers, friends, supporters and well-wishers wonder why I am not seen on the campaign trail…I assure them it is not by choice, been kept out thanks to insecure local leaders who we know very well.who have fed matter of convenience stories to the party leaders”, Sinha tweeted. “Did they act against anybody for party’s massive defeat in Delhi or losing power in Himachal Pradesh?…so what is the rationale of acting against a “garib and sharif” (poor and well cultured) person like me?” he said.
