Annotated Script Page From ‘Deadpool’ Drops Ahead of Trailer
It’s interesting that the page that they made a decision to go with wasn’t just random dialogue or some other equally confusing/boring scene, but rather from a fight that apparently takes place between the merc with a mouth and the X-Man, Colossus.
In an interview with SuperheroHype, Ryan Reynolds, who plays Deadpool in the film, said that he thought that the character will not see the light of day until the test footage has been leaked by Miller.
Deadpool pulls no punches (no pun intended), freely jabbing at “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” the haphazard film in which star Ryan Reynolds debuted as Deadpool with plans to spin him off into a solo movie at an earlier time.
Deadpool is directed by Tim Miller and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (Zombieland). Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who almost destroyed his life.
As part of its “12 Days of Deadpool” marketing campaign that will culminate with a new Deadpool trailer premiering on Christmas Day (December 25), 20th Century Fox has released a page from the script of the film, complete with notes from the mouthy mercenary himself. Miller as Weasel, Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Morena Baccarin as Copycat and Ed Skrein as Ajax.
