Anonymous claims it took down Trump Tower website
Donald Trump’s remarks about banning Muslims from entering the US continue to cause outrage across the country. “This is what ISIS wants”, the speaker says.
The hacking group Anonymous launched an assault against Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump Friday morning, targeting the website for Trump Tower in New York City.
Whilst many were quick to condemn Trump’s plans, including nearly all of Trumps republican political opponents, Hopkins merely noted that they were unenforceable.
“You can be sure that ISIS will put that up on their social media campaign”, Anonymous continued.
If Republican party bosses continue meeting to discuss how to derail Donald Trump at the convention, Trump won’t be the only one to turn his back on the GOP.
Though Rick Perry continues to talk tough about the ever-contentious billionaire Donald Trump, the former governor reiterated on Thursday that he will support the eventual GOP presidential nominee. To kick off their war against Trump, Anonymous posted on Twitter that they have successfully taken down the Trump Towers NY website.
The suggested ban came in the wake of an attack by self-professed adherents of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) killed 14 people last week in San Bernadino, California.
Fifty-seven percent of adults in the United States were against the Trump’s call, while 25 percent were in favour of it. Eighteen percent did not know or had no opinion.
Neither Trump nor the Pentagon have commented on the attacks.
