Another AAP MLA Booked Over Allegations of Misbehaving With Women
Prakash Jarwal was arrested because the woman told that the incident has taken place on June 2nd when she went to DJB office to give a complaint about the water problem in her area.
AAP today rubbished the charges of molestation against its legislator Prakash Jarwal and said it was “impractical” to believe that the alleged incident occurred in presence of 300 people, including mediapersons. After two weeks, Prakash Jarwal has followed the suit as earlier AAP MLA Dinesh Mohaniya made headlines for assaulting a woman. She also alleged that Mr Jarwal pushed her, following which she fell down, and abused her before he left the spot. “She is like my mother; notice the age difference, if there is any video proof of me misbehaving with her I will quit politics”, Jarwal said.
Meanwhile, in another troublesome development for the AAP, an FIR was filed against their MLA from Deoli, on charges of misbehaving with a woman. “At around noon, the MLA reached the DJB campus and hit me on my chest with a wrong intention”, her statement in the FIR read. He was arrested in May 2014 for abusing a junior engineer of the Delhi Jal Board.
Jarwal reportedly said that the woman who had filed the case has claimed herself to be a Rashtravadi Janata Party member in the complaint.
The victim says she first approached offices of LG and Delhi police CP before filing the FIR.
The cops have registered the case under sections 354, 506, 509 & 34 of IPC.
