Another Green Lantern Hint in ‘Arrow’ Season 4: DC Comics Character Teasers
“Arrow” will premiere its fourth season on Wednesday, October 7 at 8:00pm ET/PT. Another hint has now been dropped that points toward the superhero. If you’re not a comic fan, you might remember him as the Ryan Reynolds lead role in the Green Lantern film from several years ago. And Hal Jordan called Coast City his home.
The above artwork (which can also be viewed full size in the gallery viewer below) was just released online by Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim and, as DC Comics fans know, it teases a potential upcoming Green Lantern Arrow crossover for the hit DC Comics series.
The teaser image follows up on a reference made to Coast City during Arrow’s third season. That’s pulled right out of the comics, where “In brightest day, in blackest night” is part of the Green Lantern’s oath.
Toward the end of Season 1 of The Flash, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) mentioned that a test pilot from Ferris Air has gone missing. It could be a tease, or simply another Easter egg capitalizing on Green Arrow and Green Lantern’s relationship.
Does this mean we can look forward to an appearance from Hal Jordan?
Do you think Green Lantern will show up at all in Season 4 of Arrow, despite the claims of the show’s producers that the character will be absent?
But we want to hear your theories about what will happen in Arrow season 4 in the comments section below.
