Anthony Johnson Ready For Rematch With UFC 192 victor
Although it sounds like Daniel Cormier may be growing tired of talking about Jon Jones, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to fight the former champ again.
For Rashad Evans, the road to his comeback match at UFC 192 against Ryan “Darth” Bader felt like an eternity, yet he still managed to look on the bright side and make sure he still gets himself involved in the fight sport.
Evans continued: “Ryan Bader has been looking good lately”. “I’m excited and want to show everyone what I’ve been working on the last two years while being out injured. I had to reform some things in my training, but I completed this camp without any injuries”. “The biggest key was training smart with the same intensity”.
His upbeat mood is in stark contrast to the despair he descended into during his enforced lay-off. “At the same time, I think his skill set plays well into mine and I think it will be a fun fight”.
“It was as hard for him as it has been for me, so he definitely helped me out through the whole process”, he added of the former bantamweight champion, who has fought just once in the last four years due to multiple major injuries. I believe I got my speed and my footwork, too. “There’s no need to be loud about it because if I go in there and I dismantle Ryan Bader like I feel like I can, I’ll definitely earn it”. I don’t know what happened, but I do know that in reality, there should be some punishment for his actions.
In fact, “The Mauler” is more than prepared to stall Cormier’s takedowns, as he recently told MMA Noise that his defense is up to par and his foe will be lucky to take him down once or twice throughout their 25-minute long championship fight.
Evans v Bader is the main support to Cormier’s title defence against Alexander Gustafsson.
