Anticipation for ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Builds
Anticipation is high for “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”.
The premiere’s red carpet kicked off with stormtroopers marching and droids rolling past cameras before the film’s stars arrived.
“The Force Awakens” will hold its world premiere in Hollywood on Monday night that will include the cast, crew, celebrities and some press. You can also switch between lightsabers by clicking the Star Wars logo icons next to your photo.
The premiere brought more than 3,000 viewers to the Dolby, as well as the El Capitan and TCL Chinese theaters.
Adam B Vary, a reporter for Buzzfeed, tweeted: “Rest easy: The Force Awakens is 100% Star Wars, and something new”.
The official Star Wars Facebook account has posted an image featuring Finn, played by John Boyega, with a lightsaber in his hand. I’ve watched the film and it’s given me clarity on how it’s going to do.
“It has never, ever attracted such interest from around the world”, actor Anthony Daniels, who has portrayed the droid C-3PO in all seven “Star Wars” films, told news media on the red carpet. Despite our celebratory “techvadar” moniker, both the Dark and Light Sides can agree that spoiling this movie would be treacherous beyond what the galaxy’s greatest evils are capable of.

In those 32 years, the franchise has spawned prequels, video games, cartoon spin-offs and enough merchandise to fill a Death Star… but now, we’re finally getting some new sequels.
“Well, in the ’70s nobody knew what to anticipate”, said Ford.
She said: “She is a female villain which is not something we’ve seen much on screen so far in “Star Wars” and she has a particularly bad-ass costume”.
For those without tickets to the premiere, the most they could see was the outside of the tent.
