Anurag Kashyap goes back to Wasseypur

“After having directed the massively popular ‘Gangs of Wasseypur”, director Anurag Kashyap, and actor Zeishan Quadri, are all set to return with the third installment for the widely acclaimed film. “I want you to be the torch-bearer of Gangs of Wasseypur and take this ahead because I know that you can give full justice to it. After ‘Meeruthiya Gangsters”, you’ve won over my confidence”, Zeishan quotes Anurag as telling him.

The debutant director had also played the character of “Definite” in the second part of the series.

Zeishan who was thrilled with the praises showered on him said, “I am completely overwhelmed, it feels great when your mentor appreciates your work”.

Zeishan, who has meanwhile, also turned filmmaker with the upcoming film “Meeruthiya Gangsters”, has Anurag on board as editor for his film.

Written by Zeishan Quadri, the third part will roll next year. He said that the work will start soon. Being rather multi talented, Quadri is rather skeptical of directing a film for Kashyap, as he went to add, “I began my career with him, so obviously I would wish that he watches the film”. I am what I am today because of Anurag sir’s guidance and encouragement. “He has a vivid thought process”, he asserts. He’s eager to learn and keeps reinventing and discovering ideas.

However, the film was successful in reasserting that Anurag Kashyap would never shy away from making films that he believes in.
