Apple (AAPL) Stock May Get A Boost On September 9th
One advertising agency has taken to the streets of New York to demand Apple rename the next version of its iPhone.
Gazelle, which buys and sells used gadgets, is offering a “best price guarantee” on the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus between now and September 9. Throw in the rumors about the new Apple Watch bands (more colors, yay!) and you’ll start to feel really outdated.
According to USA Today, Gazelle is among other companies willing to pay top dollar for older models of the Iphone, regardless of condition, such as Apple, Target, Game Stop and Amazon. It may be working with Intelligent Energy on the fuel-cell-battery effort, but neither company has been willing to comment on the matter. Though other giants like Google, Amazon, and Ouya have tried to bring mobile gaming to big (TV) screen and failed relatively, Apple seems not to mind their competitors’ failure.
Going by the reports making rounds of late, the next-generation Apple iPhones – which will likely be called iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus – will come with several notable upgrades over their predecessors.
Apple debuted Force Touch on the Apple Watch earlier this year, giving apps the ability to display full-screen images without wasting precious space with gear or “hamburger” icons for settings.
The cornerstone of the 9/9 event will be the iPhone 6s and 6+s launches that should have the same form factors as the 6/6+ but with few material updates.
Apple will be holding a special event in a couple of days in what many believe will be the debut of the highly awaited iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus.

Flags, signs, security barricades – it’s all part of the prep for Apple’s massive iPhone 6s event scheduled for next week. That’s just what has happened now and this could be another indicator of an upcoming iPad mini 4 unveiling and release.
We’re guessing Force Touch technology – it’s gotta fit in there somewhere.
Weaker speculation has Apple introducing a new, bigger iPad in what would be a break from the company’s tradition of unveiling tablet news at a separate event in October. But this year, it is expected that Apple may be paying another visit to this strategy and we might get to see an iPhone 6C but there are also reports that claim, there might be no devices in the “C” series ever!
Apparently, iPhone is not the only thing to watch for on the upcoming Apple Event on Wednesday.
