Apple Debuts App Preview Videos for tvOS

Apple has more on how to capture app footage here. However, developers (and consumers) are likely hoping Apple will do something to improve all of their App Stores to bring them into feature parity.

Even with the additions, Apple Inc. Why Apple didn’t offer this to developers from the start is puzzling, but to date the company still doesn’t offer similar app previews on the Mac App Store.

Using JW Player’s solution, Tasting Table worked with JW Player to create a tvOS app ready for approval by Apple in under 24 hours. Security firms have found that third-party app stores harbour dangers of malware capable of rooting victims’ devices, delivering malicious ads and collecting sensitive user data from the mobile phones.

Apple is also working on an updated Remote app for the iPhone, according to company executives Eddy Cue and Craig Federighi. This makes it a significantly more affordable option than competitive offerings on the market.

“Being ubiquitous in today’s media environment is a necessity for any content creator”. While Apple has opened up the ability for developers to add these previews, developers still need to actually create the videos and add them to their App Store listings.

One such example is Yahoo, whose Yahoo Mail client is already available in Windows Store, with Microsoft getting in touch with the development team to better explain how the whole process of building apps for Windows actually goes.
