Apple iPhone 7 to be launched on September 7
“Please join us for an invitation-only event at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco on Wednesday, September 7, at 10:00 a.m”. The market is anticipating user reactions to the new iPhone 7, which will determine future sales figures.
After months of rumours, Apple has all but confirmed that the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be officially unveiled on 7 September.
But that’s not the only thing making waves: Word has it that a new iPad may also be announced alongside the iPhone 7, just like what happened a year ago with the iPad Pro and iPad mini 4.
Some weeks ago, there was a video release showing the iPhone 7 prototype, with the focus on the large camera bulge seen on the rear of the device.
Apparently, iPhone 7 will carry a 1960mAh battery, slightly higher than iPhone 6S’ 1715mAh.
Apple has always shied away from big updates in the camera department, but the case designs for the iPhone 7 Plus shows that this year will be different. However, as people upgrade their handsets less frequently, Apple faces a revenue decline this year.
What we don’t know yet is the iPhone 7’s release date.
Industry sources expect the new smartphones to have no headphone jack, instead relying on headphones that connect wirelessly through Bluetooth or using the lightning connector.
Anyhow it is expected that the iPhone 7 Plus will be equipped with one or two additional features.
Apple’s next iPhones, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, are scheduled for September 7th release, and invites for the event have already been sent out. As competitors introduced devices with 2K displays, Apple kept its 4.7 inch display at 720p and 5.5 inch at 1080p.
Presentations will start at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET) and will be live-streamed from the Apple website.
The event should probably provide the occasion for announcing the new iPhone.
According to a new certification issued by the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEC), Apple is working on wireless headphones and new Apple Watches.
