Apple Music boasts more than 11 million members
The company is reported to have topped $1.7 billion in sales through its virtual store; it is not surprising to see that China contributed the most towards Apple achieving this number.

Apple launched their service with a free 3-month trial and reports claim that 11 million users have taken advantage of the free trial. Or maybe it doesn’t.

The FTC, however, is said to be looking into questions surrounding APPLE’s treatment of rival apps in its store, taking a 30% cut on purchases for digital goods made within the app – which includes streaming subscriptions. Competing services have complained this policy forces them to charge more or sacrifice profits.
Apple also said that 2 million users out of total subscribers are on the family plan, which allows six people to use the service and costs $14.99.
