Apple Music for Android screenshots leak
Leaked screenshots have reportedly offered the first look at the Apple Music app for Android ahead of its official release.
The journey of Apple TV is traced back to 9 years long and has ever since updated new versions with the passage of time.
It would mark just the second time the company officially released an Android app – and the other one was a tool to migrate data to iOS devices from Android devices.
If reports are to be believed, Cupertino, California-based technology company Apple Inc.is apparently fixing to have its music streaming service called Apple Music, launched on Android. Interestingly, you can manually set the cache size for offline music, something that is set automatically by Apple on iOS. Apple would most likely benefit from having the app available on as many operating systems as possible.
At the moment Apple Music is only available on iOS devices, although Apple has promised that it will be making its way to Android eventually. They provide guidelines so the apps and games conform to important Apple TV features such as the touch-sensitive remote, and, since it is Apple we’re talking about, they give picky details about how the app icon needs to look as well.
Still, what seems to stick out the most is how Apple Music for Android has a lot of the Google platform’s UX elements present, including slide-out sidebar navigation.
While screenshots could be faked, of course, it’s certainly in Apple’s best interests to spread Apple Music as widely as possible. So far, it looks as though Android users won’t be getting a step-motherly treatment from Apple.
Ars Technica reported an estimated of one million people have already downloaded the app that could already be infected and violated their privacy.
