Apple Plans Three New iPhone 8 Models
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are two of the most popular smartphones at the moment.
Apple’s iPhone 7 has been out for less than a month, but the rumour mill for next year’s iPhone model is already in overdrive. While, we are not yet sure of the news, all we expect is the phone to turn out safe this time!
According to the latest report from Japanese news outlet Nikkei, the iPhone 8 will arrive in three different sizes, including 4.7-inch, 5-inch and 5.5-inch models. It is the down-played iPhone SE, short for Special Edition, and while it may not be a hit in counties like the USA, it is heavily marketed in eastern demographics and many parts of Africa.
These figures led to impressive revenues for Apple, whose share reached 61.6 percent, ahead of Samsung, Asus, HTC, and Sony.
Samsung Galaxy S8 spec rumors are also pretty exciting to read and know about. It’s going to be interesting as the company is also planning to include other features along with the fantastic display system.
It is also being repeatedly reported that Apple will depart from the metal casing that has been prominent in recent releases, instead favouring a glass-based design.
Samsung is said to be placing orders for components needed to make a dual-lens camera.
A visitor tries out an Apple iPhone 7 on the first day of sales of the new phone at the Berlin Apple store on September 16, 2016 in Berlin, Germany. “Optimizing this technology for Intel’s 10 nm process means that foundry customers can take advantage of the IP to achieve best-in-class PPA (power, performance, area) for power-efficient, high-performance implementations of their designs for mobile, IoT, and other consumer applications”. Furthermore, the Apple phone is expected to feature high-resolution camera specs, which will provide the users with higher quality and sharper images.
“I think Q4 looks promising for Apple in China as long as they ensure supply of the larger 7 Plus”, said Canalys analyst Nicole Peng.
But if Xiaomi’s latest handset is anything to go by, you’ll be able to buy a phone just like the rumoured iPhone 8 very shortly. Apple is looking for ways to improve its sensor technologies and analyzing how they capture light. It’s not clear at this point whether the iPhone SE will continue to be offered, but it seems likely considering that the smallest iPhone 8 remains the current 4.7-inches.
HTC 11 is said to have all the tools to beat the new iPhone 7 as the best smartphone. Hence, further iPhone 8 features could include wireless charging, no home button, and a 2.5-dimensional curved glass screen.
