Apple releases iOS 9.2 to the public
The iOS 9.2 update also fixes a number of smaller bugs, and improves stability, and makes some accessibility improvements.
iOS 9.2 comes with a very long list of bug fixes and enhancements, so it’s probably one to install as soon as you can.
Also, you can download albums or playlists from your iCloud Music Library by tapping the iCloud download button and see which has been downloaded with a new indicator next to each song in My Music and Playlists.
On top of that iPhone battery case, it just posted an iOS 9.2 update that brings big improvements to Apple Music and iBooks. With support for recording and editing UHD video on newer devices the feature has become more relevant. The update includes a number of bug fixes and a handful of new features, too.
iBooks – iBooks includes support for 3D Touch, allowing users to peek and pop into pages from the table of contents, notes and bookmarks, or search results with force press gestures. iBooks also includes support for listening to an audiobook while browsing a library, reading other books, or viewing the iBooks Store.
Jailbreaking developers like Pangu and TaiG rarely share their progress toward a new jailbreak, so it’s sort of like Schrodinger’s Cat as far as its existence is concerned: You can either look at it as an iOS 9.2 jailbreak existing or not existing, but you won’t know until Pangu opens up the box.
AT&T NumberSync – iOS 9.2 adds support for AT&T’s NumberSync service, which is an expansion of Wi-Fi calling. Previously, only iPads supported the USB Camera Adapter. Although it remains limited to users in the U.S., U.K., and Australia, the iOS 9.2 update adds a new “Top Stories” section to the News app. Large attachments can also now be sent via Mail Drop, mirroring the feature introduced in OS X Yosemite, and iBooks gets several improvements including 3D Touch support for navigating through books, listening to audiobooks while still browsing your library.
